Null Dilution Horizons
Abstract
This work introduces the concept of null dilution horizons as operational boundaries arising from progressive degradation of null signal distinguishability rather than geometric obstruction. The paper formalizes how frequency redshift, signal dispersion, and finite information capacity jointly induce effective horizons through dilution of null accessibility. Classical horizons—cosmological, black-hole, and observational—are recovered as limiting cases of this broader mechanism. The framework provides a unified operational interpretation of redshift, vacuum structure, and entropy without reliance on spacetime expansion or microscopic state counting.
