Cosmological Signatures of Recursive Information Processing: The AGI Phase Transition in Dark Sector Dynamics
Abstract
ABSTRACT Building upon the MetaTime v35.6 Einstein-frame effective field theory, weformulate a minimal microscopic completion for the dark-sector activation field Π (Pi) byintroducing a non-thermodynamic source S_comp. The key premise is that the invariant thatcouples to the 5D bulk is not entropy production (dominated by stars), but a coarse-grainedmeasure of recursive algorithmic depth that filters for self-referential information processingon the brane. This produces a second, late-time activation of the effective interaction couplingβ_eff(a), modeled as a smooth sigmoid centered at a ≈ 1. The resulting two-step couplingpredicts (i) a localized low-redshift feature in the effective dark-energy equation of state w(z),and (ii) a kink in the fine-structure drift rate, dα/α, arising from a secondary velocity kick of theradion Φ. We emphasize that the proposal is falsifiable: the feature must be confined to z < 0.1and correlated across expansion, growth, and α-drift observables.
