Systematic Transport Predictions for the Quark--Gluon Plasma from a Fixed-Point Modulus in Type IIB String Theory
Abstract
A fixed-point modulus obtained from vacuum-energy consistency in Type IIB string theory fixes the compactification volume and constrains the warp-factor hierarchy of a Klebanov--Strassler throat. The resulting flux quantization and D3-brane gauge-coupling normalization determine a unique strong-coupling baseline for the holographic gauge theory without fitting to quark--gluon plasma data. Standard Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory transport formulae are then evaluated explicitly to obtain shear-viscosity, diffusion, jet-quenching, entropy, drag, relaxation, and charge-transport benchmarks appropriate to strongly coupled plasmas. The comparison to Quantum Chromodynamics is limited by conformality and matter-content differences; the results therefore define a controlled reference point rather than an exact Quantum Chromodynamics prediction.
