Speculative Extensions of Gradients Indeterminacy: Thermal and Chiral Domains
Abstract
This work presents two conceptual extensions of the Gradient Indeterminacy principle (G-I)—originally formulated for spatiotemporal variables—toward the thermodynamic and chiral domains. The thermal extension proposes a fundamental relation between temporal gradients of temperature and entropy, offering a geometric interpretation of the arrow of time and the inaccessibility of absolute zero. The chiral extension establishes conjugate limits between local geometric torsion and its resistance, with dual formulations (mechanical and informational). We present these relations as exploratory proposals, derived by analogy from G-I, delineating experimental predictions that could validate or refute them. The work emphasizes its speculative and functional character, inviting the development of its formal consequences or its dismissal through empirical evidence. Underlying both extensions is a unifying conceptual structure: the change-resilience conjugate pair, which may represent a fundamental geometric pattern manifesting across physical domains wherever transformation processes and resistance to transformation coexist.
