Abstract

This updated release contains the scenario results and literature-classification data supporting the manuscript “A structured ex-post synthesis of Nordic power-sector pathways from independently developed scenarios”. model_results_data.xlsx: This workbook brings together results from eight model–scenario cases representing six model families, with observations for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden in 2030, 2040 and 2050 where available. Results are organised in an IAMC-style format that identifies the model, scenario, region, variable, unit and reporting year. Scoping_review_classifications.xlsx: This workbook documents the studies included in the structured literature review, their assignment to six comparison-design families and the reasons for those assignments. The classification examines how each study constructs its comparisons and what those comparisons can support. It provides the basis for positioning and justifying the manuscript’s ex-post synthesis approach, rather than serving as a comprehensive inventory of energy-system modelling research.
