Abstract

Y.I.N.-LLM: Privacy-Preserving Large Language Model Training via Optimal Cryptographic Ordering "From Now On, Any AI Can Train on Everything and Memorize Nothing" New updated Version (January 15, 2026) NEW IN Update:- Comprehensive workaround analysis demonstrating why alternative approaches fail- Machine unlearning limitations documented (recovery rates, MIA vulnerability, verification gap)- Multi-model training environments with coordinated privacy management- Knowledge transfer methodologies preserving end-to-end guarantees- Parameter-efficient adaptation techniques for sensitive data- Hardware acceleration considerations (GPU, FPGA, TEE)- Federated deployment patterns (cross-silo, cross-device, hierarchical)- Non-Memorization Completeness Test (RFC-YIN-LLM-001) verification protocol CORE FRAMEWORK (unchanged from v1.3):- Mandatory DP→ZK→HE ordering proven mathematically unique among 6 permutations- Non-Memorization Theorem: P[verbatim] ≤ e^ε × P[random]- Layer-adaptive clipping achieving 2.3% accuracy loss (vs 15-40% for DP-SGD)- Zero extractable training data across all attack vectors- Native regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act, HIPAA, DORA) KEY RESULTS:- 0/500 sequences extracted vs. 423/500 baseline- Membership inference reduced to random guessing (50.2%)- GDPR Article 17 deletion in ~2.3 seconds vs. weeks of retraining- Post-quantum security via lattice-based cryptography SCOPE CLARIFICATION (Added January 2026) The Non-Memorization Theorem (Theorem 1) provides mathematical bounds on verbatim extraction probability: P_verbatim(x | M) ≤ e^ε × P_random(x) + negl(λ) This bound applies to exact or near-exact reproduction of training sequences. Known Limitations: Semantic extraction (paraphrasing, style transfer, attribute inference) requires additional information-theoretic bounds beyond Theorem 1 Computational overhead for ZK and HE operations remains a deployment consideration Independent validation and peer review are encouraged Ongoing Work: Extension to semantic privacy via mutual information bounds (I(X; Output) ≤ ε) is the subject of continuing research and separate filings.
