The Role of AI Literacy in Proactive Decision-making
Abstract
This study examines how AI literacy relates to proactive decision-making, focusing on AI literacy, Creating AI, AI self-efficacy, and AI self-competency. Results show that only AI self-competency significantly predicts improvement in proactive decision-making, while other paths and moderators (AI skills self-assessment and trust in AI) were non-significant. Findings highlight the key role of perceived competence over knowledge alone in fostering proactive decision-making.
