Maxwell's Equations from Generative Dynamics
Abstract
We derive Maxwell's equations from a single primitive: the unitary clock ψ = e^{iθ} on U (1). By defining natural units where 2π of phase equals one unit of spacetime, the dispersion relation ω = ck becomes a denition rather than a physical postulate. The propagating clock traces a helix, whose orthogonal projections yield the electric and magnetic elds. The wave equation follows by direct computation. Every algebraic step is veried with SymPy.
