Abstract

"This work is a component of the Phase-Dependent Scaling Program (2026) and is theoretically grounded in the 1.91x Critical Scaling Gap identified in Omandac (2026, Paper 1)." "This is a theoretical/speculative framework & "Background Philosophy" This manuscript proposes the Universal Information Bridge (UIB), a theoretical framework exploring the relationship between microscopic quantum dynamics and macroscopic information integration. We suggest that the scaling behavior of collective quantum modes—specifically the transition toward the fragmented limit (observed in simulations as α ≈ -1.1 to -1.4)—governs the capacity for a system to maintain coherent information states. By synthesizing the physics of the Dicke model with observations of microtubule dynamics and clinical anesthetic data, we hypothesize that the -1.36 scaling exponent may represent a characteristic threshold for information fragmentation. The framework explores a possible solution to the 'Binding Problem' by suggesting that consciousness corresponds to the coherent phase (α ≈ 0), which is maintained through biological mechanisms that tune the system away from the universal fragmentation threshold. This work investigates the proposition that information scaling, rather than specific substrate properties, is a fundamental governing principle across biological and synthetic scales. We provide a mathematical basis for how quantum collective modes could serve as the bridge for information integration in the brain.- Note if you see -1.36 scaling exponent in my works, just think it's 1.91x Critical Scaling Gap instead.
