What May Exist - The Admissibility Papers - V 4.0
Abstract
This work presents a unified, constraint-first research program in which physical law is treated as governing what is permitted to exist prior to governing how states evolve. Rather than proposing new dynamics, particles, or microscopic models, the framework introduces admissibility as a primitive structural constraint: the requirement that distinctions, correlations, and histories be jointly enforceable under finite correlation capacity. Across forty-plus internally consistent papers, the collection develops the consequences of this shift for entropy, irreversibility, spacetime geometry, gravity, quantum coherence, horizons, and cosmological origin. Entropy is reinterpreted as saturation of finite correlation capacity rather than statistical uncertainty; probability is treated as conditional rather than fundamental; geometry emerges as an effective representation of enforceable constraint structure; and irreversibility arises from geometric locking of correlation capacity into records rather than from stochastic dynamics alone. Within this framework, gravity is understood as the geometric enforcement of shared admissibility, remaining meaningful in regimes where other physical descriptors fail. Cosmological origin is reframed not as a dynamical initial condition but as an admissibility boundary separating regimes in which differentiated physical description becomes possible from those in which no distinctions are enforceable. Black hole horizons, entropy bounds, and information recovery are treated as manifestations of enforceability limits rather than as dynamical paradoxes. The collection does not modify the equations of general relativity, quantum mechanics, or thermodynamics, nor does it privilege a specific microscopic ontology. Instead, it provides a structural layer beneath existing theories that clarifies their domains of validity and explains their shared failure modes. Several papers derive structural no-go results, showing why certain forms of total unification, unrestricted multiverse ontologies, or simultaneous global geometry and unitarity are inadmissible under finite correlation capacity. The program culminates in a conservative empirical exposure using publicly available gravitational-wave data, proposing falsifiable horizon-correlated residual signatures that would distinguish admissibility-limited spacetime from smooth geometric ultraviolet completions. Confirmation or refutation of these signatures would directly test the framework without relying on speculative microphysics. This archive is intended as a permanent, citable record of a coherent foundational framework. Its contribution is explanatory and structural rather than dynamical: it reorganizes the conceptual ordering of physical law by making admissibility explicit and by treating entropy, geometry, time, and probability as regime-dependent representations rather than universal primitives. Admissibility Physics derives the Standard Model gauge group, fermion content, quantum formalism, Lorentzian spacetime, the Einstein field equations, the cosmological constant, and the neutrino, strong-CP, and dark sectors from a single assumption — that enforcement is finite at every causally connected region — with zero free parameters. The core derivation runs Papers 0–11; the extension papers carry the individual sectors.
