Abstract

Abstract: This paper examines the question of Mosaic authorship of the Pentateuch through a philological, textual, and comparative analysis of biblical sources, with particular reference to Hebrew linguistics and the textual evidence provided by the Qumran scrolls. The study is situated within the broader continuity of the author’s long-term research in biblical studies, Semitic linguistics, translation theory, and comparative philology, including works on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Hebrew-Serbian lexicography, and translations of biblical texts from Hebrew. Methodologically, the paper integrates textual criticism, linguistic analysis, and comparative examination of biblical manuscripts and later translations. The aim is not to provide a dogmatic conclusion, but to clarify the historical, linguistic, and textual parameters within which the question of Pentateuchal authorship can be responsibly discussed in contemporary biblical scholarship. Apstrakt: Rad razmatra pitanje Mojsijevog autorstva Petoknjižja kroz filološku, tekstološku i komparativnu analizu biblijskih izvora, uz posebno oslanjanje na hebrejsku lingvistiku i svedočanstva kumranskih rukopisa. Istraživanje je deo kontinuiteta autorovog dugogodišnjeg naučnog rada u oblasti biblijskih studija, semitske filologije, teorije prevoda i komparativne lingvistike, uključujući studije o Kumranskim spisima, hebrejsko-srpskoj leksikografiji i prevodima biblijskih tekstova sa hebrejskog jezika. Metodološki okvir rada obuhvata tekstualnu kritiku, lingvističku analizu i uporedno proučavanje biblijskih rukopisa i kasnijih prevodnih tradicija, sa ciljem da se preciznije odrede istorijski i filološki okviri unutar kojih se pitanje autorstva Petoknjižja može naučno razmatrati.
