Abstract

Recent LHAASO detections of persistent PeV outflows from several Galactic black-hole binaries reveal a striking contradiction in fundamental physics: standard general relativity predicts black holes to be purely absorptive sinks, yet these systems behave as structured, long-lived emitters. Such behavior implies that organized, low-entropy energy is exported over astrophysical timescales, something GR alone cannot accommodate. If black holes indeed function as persistent emitters, a covariant, horizon-scale transport mechanism must exist—one compatible with the smooth geometry expected from GR and with the unitarity required by quantum information.
