INTERACTIVE: A CASE-BASED FRAMEWORK FOR RISK-AWARE LEARNING IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION (TIVE = TRAINING IN INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS)
Abstract
The case study method is one of the interactive teaching approaches, enabling students to acquire academic information and skills by using it as a practical guide. Case-based technology relies on the use of specially simulated real-life industrial scenarios in the educational process for analysis, problem identification, exploration of alternatives, and selection of the most optimal solution. Consequently, the potential of case-based technology transforms it into an effective tool for developing the research competencies of future professionals and integrating their academic and research activities.
