EQUAL-SR
Abstract
EQUAL-SR is a software for meta-analysis of intervention. This is based on R and R-studio and uses the package meta to perform the meta-analysis. For more details on how to perform systematic reviews of intervention, please see my book, "Systematic reviews in health and disease" available online (free) from: https://doi.org/10.14324/111.9781800086586. EQUAL-SR requires installation of R and RStudio. A video of installation of R and RStudio for a similar app is available from: https://youtu.be/P_6DrG0tuCs. Instructions after installing R and RStudio: Unzip the attached file to the desired location by double-clicking on the EQUAL_SR.exe file and click on "app.R". This will open the app. Then click on 'Run App' in RStudio. There is also now a stand-alone package for Windows available now (EQUAL_SR_win.exe). The stand-alone version does not require any installation of software. Double-click on EQUAL_SR_win.exe. This will extract the files to the desired location that you specify. Click on 'Run.bat'. This will open a command prompt (a black window, which will be reduced) and open the app after a few seconds. Please do not close the command prompt. If you close it, the app will stop functioning.
