Abstract

Skin diseases are among the most common health issues worldwide, yet early diagnosisremains a challenge due to limited access to dermatologists, especially in rural andunderserved areas. Delayed detection often leads to increased severity, higher treatmentcosts, and patient discomfort. With the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and computervision, automated image-based diagnosis systems offer a promising solution for earlyscreening and awareness. This paper presents an AI-based skin disease prediction system that analyzes images ofaffected skin areas using a deep learning vision model. The proposed system allows usersto upload a skin image through a web interface and receive instant predictions, confidencescores, and user-friendly guidance. The system emphasizes accessibility, privacy, and easeof use, making it suitable for non-technical users. Image preprocessing and validationtechniques are applied to improve accuracy, while a secure backend ensures that no userimages are stored. The results demonstrate that the proposed system can effectively support early awarenessof common skin conditions and encourage timely medical consultation. This approach doesnot replace professional diagnosis but serves as a reliable preliminary screening
