Life Origins from the Perspective of Dynamic Generative Theory A Relational Interpretation of the "Chicken-or-Egg"
Abstract
Title: A Dynamic Generative Perspective on Life's Origin Author: Chen Zihao (Independent Researcher) Abstract:Extending the framework of Dynamic Generative Theory (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18169026), this essay explores whether its core principles—especially the concept of a shared generative history—can offer a fresh perspective on the origin of life. Instead of searching for a “first molecule,” we suggest that nucleic acids and proteins may have emerged as co-generated, historically entangled structures within a common prebiotic potential field. This relational view naturally reframes the classic “chicken-or-egg” paradox and invites new experimental approaches. Note: I am not a biologist. This is an exploratory “stress test” of my own theoretical framework, applied to one of science's great mysteries. It is intended only to propose a complementary viewpoint for experts in the field to consider, critique, or build upon.
