Geometric Reinterpretation of Weak Measurement Singularities in Aharonov's TSVF: The Trame Θ as φ-adic Structure of Quantum Time
Abstract
I propose a novel geometric interpretation of the systematic anomalies observed at 45° and 135° in weak measurement experiments of Aharonov’s Two-State Vector Formalism (TSVF). By introducing Trame Θ, a cosmological framework based on golden ratio φ-power quantization, I demonstrate that these angular singularities are not mathematical artifacts but ontological interfaces between the temporal (tetrahedral) and spatial (planar) levels of quantum reality. The Machin-type identity π/4 = arctan(1/φ) + arctan(1/φ³) geometrically anchors 45° as the equilibrium point between φ-adic expansion and contraction. I show that the scalar product ⟨φⁿ|φ⁻ⁿ⟩ = (φⁿ − φ⁻ⁿ)/√5 encodes the maximal geometric tension at singularity points, explaining why weak values diverge precisely at these angles. My reinterpretation of the Ritchie-Hulet experiment (1991) reveals a remarkable correspondence between the observed 12 μm shift and the φⁿ/φ⁻ⁿ asymmetry predicted by Trame Θ. I formulate a central testable prediction: the ratio of weak measurement anomaly amplitudes on either side of 45° must converge to φ ≈ 1.618 as the angular deviation approaches zero, thus offering direct experimental validation of the φ-adic character of time in quantum mechanics.
