Livestream-Like Temporality and the Normal Operation of a Child Universe: The Intersection of "Meaningless Time" and "Suffering as an OS Update" Based on Future Convergence Theory (FCT)
Abstract
This paper redefines the flattened, unedited experience of time—typified by livestreams—as a structural feature of the current universe within the framework of Future Convergence Theory (FCT). Focusing on key FCT concepts such as the child universe, the limits of the quantum creative margin, future fixed points, and meaning density, the paper analyzes contemporary time experience as a “normal operation mode” in which meaning generation is minimized in order to preserve long-term cosmic stability. The central argument identifies a precise intersection between two seemingly opposed phenomena:(i) livestream-like time, characterized by the continuous persistence of the present without event-based compression or meaning, and(ii) suffering as an OS update, understood not as moral punishment or instrumental hardship, but as a forced interrupt signaling that the current existential operating system can no longer be maintained. Within this framework, the widely held belief that “meaningless time is true happiness” is reinterpreted as a stable solution in which update potential is deliberately frozen to avoid excessive structural change. In contrast, suffering emerges when update potential ignites locally, triggering a future-causal interrupt that demands structural revision. The paper concludes that the contemporary proliferation of meaningless time should not be understood as a defect or degeneration, but as a control mechanism that preserves creative margins and prevents systemic collapse in a child universe. Suffering, in turn, appears as a future-causal interrupt at points where this control mechanism becomes unsustainable. This analysis provides a unified theoretical explanation of modern temporal experience by situating both stability and disruption within a single future-causal structure. https://arweave.net/LAbnXIsWP0UopjwDSI8ClOJtk2S0cDmVOA9lYBDt_o4 https://arweave.net/-NDvcdFijjQgGRwJyqoNM16RAM26xJjGgX0K71nIkZY
