A Physical No-Go Framework for Atlantis Observer-Limited Catastrophe, Information Persistence, and the Necessity of Incomplete Erasure
Abstract
This paper applies non-negotiable physical laws to the problem of Atlantis by treating the existence of a persistent account as a physical datum rather than a historical claim. Using conservation, causality, locality, thermodynamics, stability, and irreversibility, it derives strict necessity conditions that any catastrophic event capable of producing such a record must satisfy. The analysis functions as a physics-only no-go framework, eliminating entire classes of proposed Atlantis scenarios (e.g., total erasure, global destruction, continent-scale disappearance) without invoking archaeology, mythology, psychology, or mathematics. The result is a constraint filter that bounds the energy density, spatial extent, and duration of the event solely from the requirement that a physical record persists.
