The Computational Universe [UIFA+ Edition]: Informational Gravity, Cosmic Self-Computation, and Recursive Paradox Negotiation
Abstract
The Computational Universe [UIFA+ Edition] presents a unified theoretical framework in which physical law, information, and consciousness are treated as computationally related layers of a single variational structure. The paper integrates three components: (i) physical computation as lawful state evolution; (ii) informational computation formalised by the Unified Information-Field Action Plus (UIFA+), in which an informational scalar field modulates spacetime curvature; and (iii) consciousness as recursive paradox negotiation (PNT), where sustained internal conflict gives rise to structured phenomenology. A central result is the Curvature Correspondence Principle, establishing a formal parallel between spacetime curvature in physics and internal curvature in conscious experience. This Zenodo release constitutes the first archival publication of The Computational Universe on Zenodo and reflects a substantial revision relative to earlier OSF versions. The original linear informational coupling has been replaced by the renormalisation-consistent UIFA+ framework, empirical and mathematical components have been strengthened, and several appendices have been expanded to include worked examples, simulation pathways, and a detailed geometric account of qualia. Earlier drafts of this work are available on OSF (DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/ZQNTP); this version should be regarded as the definitive UIFA+ edition aligned with the author’s recent Zenodo publications on informational gravity and paradox-negotiating systems. This version supersedes all prior OSF drafts for purposes of citation.
