IFRG × LF²ES for IP Assets v1.0 - Irreversibility‑First and Lethality‑Oriented Governance Model for Corporate IP Assets
Abstract
Abstract Corporate intellectual property (IP) governance is frequently fragmented across legal, technical, and commercial silos, resulting in coverage maximalism, resource dilution, and weak alignment with enterprise‑level risk architecture. Traditional IP management emphasizes accumulation and procedural completeness, often neglecting the asymmetry between reversible and irreversible risks. This paper proposes IFRG × LF²ES for IP Assets, a unified governance model that integrates Irreversibility‑First Risk Governance (IFRG) with Lethality‑First, Fast‑Filter Elimination Search (LF²ES). The model reconceptualizes IP assets—trademarks, patents, domain names, and data rights—as components of corporate risk infrastructure rather than standalone legal properties. By prioritizing lethal and irreversible risk paths and systematically eliminating non‑essential IP actions, the framework enables enterprises to concentrate resources on strategically decisive protections. Designed at the enterprise risk architecture level, IFRG × LF²ES provides a transferable methodology for listed companies, highly regulated industries, and multinational organizations operating under uncertainty, regulatory volatility, and asymmetric downside risk.
