ε (Epsilon) – Kohärenz, Dämpfung und Skalenkopplung im URP + D2-Framework Vom freien Parameter zur strukturabhängigen Ordnungsgröße
Abstract
In several works within the URP + D2 framework, the dimensionless parameter ε (epsilon) appears as a measure of resonant coherence and structural damping. Earlier formulations implicitly treated ε as a global parameter, leading to conceptual ambiguity and potential misinterpretation. This document systematically clarifies the status of ε. It demonstrates that ε is neither a fundamental constant nor a free fit parameter, but an effective order parameter whose numerical value is domain-specific. Different regimes — microscopic systems, galactic scales, and cosmological large-scale structures (BAO, voids) — require distinct ε-ranges without introducing arbitrariness. ε quantifies the loss of resonant coherence in the coupling of finite scales. Within URP + D2, observed drift, anisotropy, and apparent time dependence do not arise from dynamical cosmic evolution, but from projective effects of finite coupling sharpness. The paper introduces a consistent classification and calibration scheme for ε, defines explicit mapping rules between domains, and formulates clear falsification criteria. It does not aim to replace established cosmological models, but provides a structure-oriented consistency framework beyond narrative early-universe assumptions.
