Gravitype: Local Closure Dynamics, Confinement, and Planck-Scale Consistency from a Discrete SU(2) Substrate.
Abstract
Version 2.0 — Major Revision and Title Update Title update:“Gravitype: Local Closure Dynamics, Confinement, and Planck-Scale Consistency from a Discrete SU(2) Substrate.”This change reflects the inclusion of formal consistency results related to the Planck scale and a clearer distinction between the axiomatic substrate dynamics and any interpretive physical mappings. Key updates in V2.0: Formal confinement proofs:Added Appendix B, providing an explicit justification of the linear confinement bound E(L) ≥ ΣL based on locality and the necessity of connected frustration bands. Numerical verification:Section 5 now includes a dedicated numerical experiment using a topological twist on a 2D torus, empirically validating the predicted linear scaling of excess frustration cost. Symmetry analysis:Added Appendix C, demonstrating the symmetry-based suppression of linear Lorentz-violating terms (ξ1 = 0) in the effective continuum description. Planck-scale identification:Refined the discussion of the Planck scale as a parameter-free fixed point of consistency that emerges when the framework is required to be compatible with quantum action (ℏ) and gravitation (G), without assuming a specific spacetime or dynamical interpretation. General rigor and scope discipline:Improved separation throughout the manuscript between derived structural results of the discrete SU(2) substrate and conditional interpretive embeddings related to quantum and gravitational physics.
