Abstract

A new, quantitative law linking decoherence rate directly to information extraction: Γ = (ln 2) × (probe rate × bits per probe), with universal slope ln 2 ≈ 0.693. Emerges from a non-Markovian master equation and predicts an irreversible quantum-classical threshold. Includes a simple, immediately feasible ion-trap / superconducting-qubit experiment to test the exact slope. Full preprint (equations, protocol, rebuttals)
