Abstract

This repository contains representative numerical inputs supporting the simulations presented in“Geometric Singularities and Pressure Relaxation: A 3D Phase-Field Framework for Fracture in Diamond-Hosted Olivine Inclusions.” The archive includes: A representative Abaqus input file illustrating geometry, boundary conditions, loading protocol, and symmetry reduction for a single olivine inclusion with a sharp edge (fillet radius 0.01 μm, inclusion volume 1×10⁶ μm³). A Fortran user-defined element (UEL) implementing the phase-field cohesive zone formulation used in all simulations. Simulations in the manuscript explore additional geometries (one-edge vs four-edge singularities), inclusion sizes, fillet radii, and single- versus two-inclusion configurations. These cases follow the same numerical framework but require distinct geometries and mesh constructions. Large Abaqus output files (.odb) are not included due to size and proprietary format but can be regenerated using the provided inputs.
