Abstract

This book presents a comprehensive psychological and human rights–based framework for understanding peace as a continuous and unified process operating at individual, social, and global levels. Rather than treating peace as a political outcome or the temporary absence of war, the work conceptualizes peace as a psychological state emerging from fear reduction, dignity protection, and fulfillment of fundamental human needs. Human rights are examined not only as legal instruments, but as psychological infrastructure essential for stabilizing the human mind and preventing violence. The book argues that where human rights are protected, peace becomes psychologically sustainable; where rights are violated, fear, resentment, and aggression inevitably arise. Drawing from psychology, peace studies, human rights frameworks, neuroscience, and social systems analysis, the work introduces the Philip Mission Psychology Model for Peace. This model identifies fear reduction as the core mechanism of peace, mental health systems as peace infrastructure, and psychological integration as the foundation for global coexistence. Individual peace and global peace are treated as expressions of the same psychological processes operating at different scales. Leadership psychology, violence, crime, reward mechanisms, identity conflict, and global interdependence are analysed strictly within non-ideological, non-political, and non-violent academic boundaries. This publication is a conceptual and theoretical scholarly work intended solely for academic, educational, and research purposes. It does not promote political ideology, rebellion, policy advocacy, or legal instruction. The book contributes to peace studies, human rights discourse, peace psychology, and interdisciplinary social sciences by offering a scientifically grounded framework for understanding peace as a shared human psychological responsibility.
