Distributional Symmetry: Emergence from Measure Evolution
Abstract
The paper presents a measure-theoretic formulation of emergence in nonlinear dynamical systems, where symmetry is defined at the level of probability measures rather than individual states. Symmetry creation is described as stabilizer enlargement along measure evolution, including convergence to invariant measures. The approach clarifies the coexistence of symmetry creation and symmetry breaking and includes examples and a simple empirical diagnostic. This is a preprint version.
