Impacts of land use change on the distribution of human-black vulture conflict in the U.S.
Abstract
Code and data used to model human-black vulture conflict over time in the Eastern U.S. using data from the USDA mitigation database, and the USFWS lethal take permit database. The R script "Dep_Nimble" formats the data (mitigation_data_pub.csv) and runs the model. The R script "Dep_Predict" along with the U.S. Counties shapefile create maps of conflict probability from the model results.
