The Three Force Fractal Model I: SM Translation
Abstract
This paper is a technical guide for readers trained in the Standard Model and continuum field theory who want to understand the substrate ontology of the Three Force Fractal Model (3FFM) in familiar language. It does not introduce new dynamics beyond the companion Ontology and Math Framework papers. Instead, it translates their discrete, finite, deterministic substrate into concepts that Standard Model intuition can grasp. The paper first contrasts the 3FFM Tapestry with conventional spacetime, and explains how Nodes, Source, and Dihapl (DH) correspond to degrees of freedom that would normally be described as fields and particles. It then develops the substrate notion of time as a global Tick and compares scalar time to coordinate time in relativistic field theory. Next, the paper presents Temporal Drag (TD) and Temporal Configuration Drag (TCD) as the substrate cost functionals whose accumulated value defines mass as effort. Mass, inertia, and “rest energy” are interpreted in terms of the temporal work required to maintain and move patterns across the Tapestry. The tagged DH (TDH) worldline is then mapped to the familiar idea of a particle worldline, with the Math Framework results providing a discrete light cone, a speed bound, and a mass-motion inequality. Finally, the paper introduces barrier bands and frozen regions as substrate counterparts to impenetrable potentials and confinement, and outlines how higher-level field and particle behavior are intended to emerge from the 3FFM substrate in later work.
