STUDY OF KACHAR QUARRY MINING TECHNOLOGY AIMED AT REDUCING MINING COSTS AT THE OPERATION STAGES
Abstract
The article presents a study aimed at reducing transportation costs of rock mass. The most effective way to reduce transport costs is to add an electrified transport link, which is characterized by low operating costs. A significant volume of transportation can be covered by conveyor transport or complexes of special lifts. This solution will reduce the volume of road transport, limiting it to transportation from the working face to the elevator. One promising solution is to use special lifts (skips) on rail guides located in a steep trench. Thus, the main objective of the study is to solve the transport problem of an ultra-deep quarry by substantiating the feasibility of using innovative, environmentally friendly designs for steep-inclined ore lifting without reducing the design production capacity. In addition, the work solves a problem containing a study of methods for placing quarry contours depending on the configuration of ore bodies, which showed that the position of the contours should be calculated based on the parameters of the deposit's near-contour zone.
