The Mechanical Resolution of the Dipole Anomaly: A Viscous Manifold Approach
Abstract
The standard cosmological model (LambdaCDM) faces a critical challenge following the confirmation of a 5.1 sigma discrepancy between the matter dipole (inferred from quasar and radio galaxy counts) and the cosmic microwave background (CMB) dipole. This "Cosmic Dipole Anomaly" suggests that our motion through the universe is inconsistent with the assumption of a smooth, isotropic Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric. This paper proposes the Unified Scale-Symmetry Model (USSM) as a mechanical resolution. By modeling the vacuum as a 10D viscous fluid manifold with a finite eon of 17.61 Gyr, the dipole discrepancy is identified as the signature of fluid-dynamic drag and metric drift rather than a simple kinematic Doppler shift.
