Abstract

Description (Canonical, Authority-Closed) “Financial Black Box” is used here as a descriptive architectural term, not as a product name, brand, or commercial offering. This record provides a public, non-executable reference overview of the Financial Black Box concept — a minimal architectural primitive demonstrating a structural property of modern financial and payment systems: in the absence of an independent, authoritative state anchor, the post-failure system state is not uniquely provable, either technically or legally. The artifact demonstrates that when an independent, authoritative state snapshot exists, the admissible interpretation space collapses to exactly one provable state. In its absence, multiple mutually consistent system states may remain logically valid despite the presence of transaction logs, reconciliation tables, partner ledgers, and audit trails. This publication does not disclose implementation details, source code, protocols, runtime logic, construction methodology, or deployment mechanisms. It serves solely as a fixed, deterministic reference demonstrating the existence and implications of a missing structural component in current financial systems. All materials are static, deterministic, and reproducible. Any modification constitutes a distinct artifact. This record is strictly referential and non-executable. Non-Claims This record: provides no legal, regulatory, or compliance guidance; defines no governance process or responsibility model; specifies no implementation, deployment, or operational behavior; asserts no factual claims about any real systems, organizations, incidents, liabilities, intent, or fault. Any interpretation of this record that implies validation, certification, evaluation, compliance determination, fault attribution, liability assessment, or legal conclusion is explicitly invalid.
