Soliton Radar
Abstract
This work presents a system-level model of a solitonic radar based on phase-locked, non-dispersive bursts. The proposed approach emphasizes deterministic phase coherence as a performance driver, enabling robust detection under clutter and electronic countermeasures. The paper introduces analytical equations for coherent gain, phase-coherence index, detection statistics, and jamming resilience factor, providing reproducible metrics for experimental validation. Unlike quantum radar concepts that rely on fragile entanglement, the solitonic radar framework is implementation-neutral, compatible with standard RF hardware, and suitable for near-term laboratory testing.
