Abstract

This preprint presents a forensic, cross-disciplinary analysis of the liturgical term Amen as a conserved ritual phoneme rather than a purely Semitic affirmation. Drawing on museum-catalogued archaeological evidence for Zeus–Ammon syncretism, phonemic continuity across Egyptian, Greek, Hebrew, and Christian contexts, and comparative liturgical structure, the paper argues for structural–functional continuity from Egyptian solar theology associated with Amun into Jewish and Christian ritual. The study advances a model of ritual inheritance that does not rely on explicit confessional admission, demonstrating continuity through placement, repetition, and function
