Early Gas-Rich Structures as Constraints on Pre-Structured Galaxy Formation Scenarios
Abstract
This paper represents an earlier stage in the development of the Entropic Spacetime Field (ESF) framework. The current reference implementation is presented in MMS-A19: The Entropic Spacetime Field: A Canonical Wave Framework for Cosmic Structure Formation 10.5281/zenodo.21433778, which supersedes the mathematical formulation described here while retaining a number of the underlying physical concepts. This research note examines recent observations of massive, gas-rich, star-poor structures in the early universe and frames them as potential constraints on pre-structured or pathway-biased galaxy formation scenarios. Rather than proposing a new model, the note explores how such systems can be used to test frameworks that allow large-scale structure to precede efficient star formation, including entropy-responsive spacetime approaches. The discussion is explicitly exploratory and test-oriented. It identifies observational discriminators, clarifies current data limitations and outlines where future observations could falsify or constrain pre-structuring hypotheses. The note is intended as a complementary constraint study linked to MMS-A13 (Early Galaxy Formation via Pre-Structuring).
