Why SP3 Predicts No Gravitons
Abstract
The Space-Phase Persistence (SP3) framework treats gravity not as a force mediated byexchange particles, but as a collective, state-dependent response of space itself to thepassage and presence of matter and energy. In this note, it is argued that if SP3 correctlydescribes physical reality, then gravitons are neither required nor expected to exist asfundamental particles. The absence of gravitons follows naturally from SP3’s coreassumptions: space is an active, conditionable medium; gravitational phenomena arisefrom space-phase saturation, relaxation, and memory; and gravitational waves representcoherent reorganizations of space-phase rather than quantized force carriers. The longstanding difficulty of graviton detection is reinterpreted not as a technological limitation, but as a category error rooted in an inappropriate field-quantization analogy.
