The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM): Cosmic Acceleration and Constant Variation via Geometric Saturation
Abstract
The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM) introduces a discrete geometric framework where space-time volume (V) emerges from quantum information (S) via a “Tetrahedral Voxelization” process. We propose that the expansion of the universe is driven by a topological phase transition from an isotropic “Chain Phase” (z > 2) to a saturated “Mesh Phase” (z < 1). This transition allows the cosmic network to access the Kissing Number (Kmax = 12) of 3-dimensional Euclidean space, granting a geometric efficiency boost of η= 1 + 1/12. This theoretical multiplier (≈1.0833) matches the observed Hubble Tension discrepancy (73.0/67.4 ≈1.083) with > 99.9% precision. Furthermore, the model predicts that the crystallized nature of the vacuum imposes a directional anisotropy on the speed of light (c), resulting in an observable dipole gradient in the Fine Structure Constant (α) aligned with the Eridanus Cold Spot.
