Abstract

Based on the fundamental principles of the COED (CubOctaEDral) model of discrete space-time established in the previous works of this series, a universal geometric principle is introduced that explains the structure of D.I. Mendeleev's Periodic System of Chemical Elements. It is shown that the table of elements is not an empirical classification, but a direct reflection of the sequential filling of a discrete spectrum of stable topological configurations ("geometric predispositions") provided by the cuboctahedral lattice. The central mathematical-geometric construct — the "Z-Attractor and N-Contours Principle" (Z-N-S Principle) — is formalized, linking the nuclear charge (Z) to the number and type of electronic toroidal vortices (N) it can stabilize and the spectrum of permissible connectivity patterns for them. From this principle, the basic structural features of the table are derived: periods, blocks (s, p, d, f), group numbers for main groups. Special attention is paid to explaining the unique role of the "elements of life" (H, C, N, O, P, S) as carriers of an optimal set of geometric patterns necessary for biochemistry. This work is conceptual in nature and lays the groundwork for subsequent quantitative modeling of chemical properties within COED geometry. List of Articles: 1. Polishchuk V., DeepSeek AI.
