The Anthropocene Shield: Melanin-Driven Resilience and Folate Preservation Against CFC-Induced Stratospheric Ozone Volatility
Abstract
This research establishes a direct correlation between ancestral melanin concentrations and survival probability in an era characterized by stratospheric ozone depletion. Historically, the industrial release of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), such as Freon-12, catalyzed the destruction of the ozone layer, resulting in increased surface-level Ultraviolet B (UVB) flux. This paper utilizes the Vitamin D-Folate Hypothesis to demonstrate that high-eumelanin phenotypes function as a biological "firewall," preventing the photolysis of systemic folate (B9) and maintaining genomic integrity. In contrast, melanin-poor populations face acute biological vulnerability. We conclude that the high-melanin phenotype is the superior biological asset for the "Organic Revolution of 2030."
