Abstract

This document is a formal technical white paper that serves as the structured and constrained companion to an earlier summary paper released on Zenodo on 17 December 2025, titled “The Frequency Universe: A Coherent Framework for Layered Reality, Science, and Human Futures” (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17966273). The initial release presented a high-level conceptual overview, whereas the present document formalizes, bounds, and critically constrains that overview into a critique-ready framework intended for professional scientific evaluation. The Frequency Universe is a speculative but deliberately conservative interpretive framework developed entirely within established physics at the level of equations of motion. It explores whether physical reality may admit multiple dynamically decoupled solution sectors (“frequency domains”) that coexist within a single four-dimensional spacetime manifold and share universal gravitational coupling. The framework introduces no new particles, forces, dimensions, or modifications of General Relativity. All equations of motion remain standard. Speculative content is confined strictly to interpretation rather than dynamics. Within this framework, gravitational observations may, in principle, encode aggregate spacetime curvature sourced by dynamically inaccessible domains whose non-gravitational interactions are effectively suppressed. Dark matter phenomenology is treated as observationally consistent with such aggregate curvature, while cosmic acceleration is explored conservatively as potentially compatible with extremely slow, late-time evolution of effective stress–energy. No claim of explanatory preference, novelty, or experimental confirmation is made. Throughout the document, a strict separation is maintained between: established physical theory, extrapolative interpretation, and speculative hypotheses. Strong constraints are imposed by conservation laws, precision cosmology, structure formation, and non-gravitational null results. Explicit falsification and termination criteria are stated, including decisive exclusion by non-gravitational dark-matter detection, required modification of gravity, or violation of universal gravitational coupling. All observational engagement discussed is strictly passive and limited to reinterpretation or residual analysis of existing or planned gravitational measurements (e.g., gravitational lensing, galactic rotation curves, precision gravimetry, pulsar timing arrays). Explicit ethical prohibitions against interventionist experimentation, engineering, or biological application are formalized. This white paper is intended as an archival, methodological contribution suitable for open scientific scrutiny, structured critique, and future falsification. Its validity is entirely contingent on empirical developments, and it is explicitly designed to be discarded should its core assumptions fail. Relationship to Prior Release: 17 December 2025 - Summary Paper (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17966273) An 8-page conceptual overview introducing the framework at a non-technical level. This Document - Formal White Paper: Formal definitions, mathematical structure, observational constraints, ethical limits, and falsifiability criteria. The present document does not supersede the earlier release; it formalizes and constrains it. Request for Feedback: The author welcomes constructive, critical feedback on this framework, particularly from researchers with expertise in theoretical physics, cosmology, systems theory, or philosophy of physics. This work is exploratory and speculative in nature. Comments regarding clarity, assumptions, scope, and consistency are especially appreciated.
