Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of legal unfairness within the Philippine legal system using a doctrinal-legal approach centered on constitutional principles. Focusing on the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause under Article III, Section 1 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, the paper explores how legislative frameworks and selective government enforcement can yield arbitrary, discriminatory, or inequitable outcomes despite existing constitutional safeguards.
