Exo-Drifted Layer (EDL) Version 1.0.1: A Cosmological Specification for Post-hoc Drift Metrology
Abstract
This document specifies the Exo-Drifted Layer (EDL), a cosmological descriptive layer that defines the conditions for non-closure in perpetually dynamical systems. EDL is not a standalone theory but a specification presupposing Exo-Centered Equilibrium (ECE) and CE. The core axiom of EDL states that intentional alignment in a non-stationary universe inevitably generates "Drift" (also known as Slip or Delta), defined as the irreducible discrepancy between Generation (G) and Trace (T). As a post-hoc descriptive specification, EDL explicitly forbids steering, optimization, or system closure, functioning instead as a framework for detection, measurement, and recording of drift. This version includes boundary notes on NSPS/PSRF as structural observations.
