Topological Genesis: Deriving the Standard Model from Knot Geometry in a Discrete Superfluid Vacuum
Abstract
The Standard Model of particle physics successfully catalogs the fundamental constituentsof matter but fails to explain their geometric origin, mass hierarchy, or the restriction to ex-actly three generations. In this paper, we propose a foundational shift from point-particlemechanics to Topological Geometrodynamics. Building upon the “Quantum Loom” frame-work, which establishes the vacuum as a discrete, viscoelastic superfluid lattice, we demon-strate that fundamental particles are stable topological defects (knots) within this substrate. We derive the electron as a prime Trefoil Knot (31), explain electric charge as topologicalchirality, and model the proton as a Borromean Ring structure of confinement. To eliminatethe arbitrary generation parameters of the Standard Model, we mathematically map theheavier fermion families not as novel particles, but as recursive Cable Knots confined withinthe base Generation-1 topology. By locking the longitudinal wrap to preserve Lepton Uni-versality, we derive the exact masses of the Muon and Tau from their internal tensile strain(meridional winding) against a universal geometric Tube Constant. This strictly dictates aLeptonic Scaling Constant (≈16.818) and resolves the empirical Koide formula (K ≈2/3)not as a numerical coincidence, but as the dimensional packing limit of a 1-dimensionalstrand saturating a 2-dimensional boundary. Finally, we provide a geometric proof for thetruncation of fermion generations based on the topological saturation of the vacuum lattice.
