Integrated Perspective on Decision Freezing - Prompt Fatigue, State-Transition Design, and Information Flow - Connecting Prompt Culture, ECOIN Logistics, and Flow-Oriented Human–AI Design
Abstract
Description This integrative note connects two previously published works—Prompt Fatigue and Delegated Agency in Viral AI Prompt Culture and ECOIN Logistics—under a shared structural framework of information flow and decision freezing in human–AI systems. Prompt Fatigue is analyzed as a condition in which excessive prompt templates, delegated agency, and instruction overload destabilize information flow, resulting in cognitive fatigue and loss of agency. ECOIN Logistics, by contrast, proposes a state-transition user interface that reconstructs flow by decomposing delay into observable process stages and minimal intervenable actions. Decision Freezing emerges here as a common structural consequence of both phenomena: not a psychological weakness, but a system-level outcome produced by evaluative pressure, prediction overload, and flow disruption. This note does not introduce new empirical claims. Instead, it serves as an editorial bridge that clarifies conceptual alignment between cultural analysis and interface design, positioning decision freezing as a unifying lens across prompt culture, UI ethics, and flow-oriented human–AI interaction.
