Abstract

This paper articulates AI Indexing Optimisation (AIO) as an epistemic infrastruc-ture that operates prior to evaluation, scoring, and allocation in AI-mediated knowl-edge environments. Building upon the definitions established in the prior AIO shortpaper, this work does not propose a new framework, but instead clarifies how structuraleligibility functions internally as a condition of AI-mediated recognition. The analysis demonstrates that AIO governs whether information can enter AIprocessing pipelines as a candidate for cognition, memory, and reuse. Through alayered architectural model, the paper explains how structural conditions manifestas processing depth, visibility pathways, and persistence, independent of ranking orjudgment mechanisms. Visibility is therefore treated not as an outcome, but as aproperty of processability within AI systems.By examining knowledge bases, AI browser environments, and institutional texts, the paper shows that AIO functions as an explanatory framework for observed shiftsin information persistence and epistemic stability. Finally, the relationship betweenAIO and AI-scored allocation systems is clarified, establishing structural eligibility asa necessary precondition for any subsequent evaluative logic.Taken together, this articulation positions AIO not as an optimization technique, but as a foundational infrastructure for understanding how recognition precedes eval-uation in AI-mediated societies. In the post-SEO era, content visibility is no longer driven by keyword strategies or humancuration. Instead, artificial intelligence systems have begun to reallocate visibility based onstructural interpretability, internal logic, and reusability of discourse. This shift has givenrise to a new protocol layer, which we define as AI Indexing Optimisation (AIO).
