Absence of Cytoplasmic Incompatibility and High Vertical Wolbachia Transmission in a Neotropical Drosophilid
Abstract
These files contain the data for our article published in Journal of Evolutionary Biology, “Absence of Cytoplasmic Incompatibility and High Vertical Wolbachia Transmission in a Neotropical Drosophilid”. This study examined the persistence and fitness effects of Wolbachia infection in Drosophila sturtevanti, revealing reduced female fecundity and larval production, absence of cytoplasmic incompatibility, and high but imperfect maternal transmission. Each CSV file corresponds to a different dataset used in the analyses of the article. Below, the name of each table and a description of the corresponding columns are provided.
