Textualis HTR model related to the Augustinian canonesses in Inzigkofen
Abstract
This is a text recognition model trained on the hand of Augustinian canoness Anna Jaeck (d. 1481) from the convent in Inzigkofen. The Ground Truth dataset contains German texts in Gothic script (Textualis) from the 15th century (Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Ms. germ. oct. 842). The model was obtained by fine-tuning the TriDiS v2 model. The dataset is published here. Metrics CER: 4.88%
