Abstract

Spectral Higgs Portal Phenomenological predictions for the spectral-action-derived Higgs portal model. This repository provides the computational framework for reproducing all numerical results in: K. Makraini, "Spectral Higgs Portal: Falsifiable TeV Predictions from Twistor Geometry" (2026) Key Predictions | Observable | Value | HL-LHC Testable? | |------------|-------|------------------| | Heavy scalar mass | m_ρ ∈ [2.0, 3.5] TeV | ✓ | | Production ratio | R_VBF/ggF ~ 20-30 | ✓ (unique signature) | | Signal rate | σ×BR(WW) ~ 1.3 fb | ✓ (5σ discovery) | | Higgs deviation | |Δκ| < 2% | ✓ (precision) | The Unique VBF Dominance Signature Unlike all alternative heavy scalar scenarios (generic singlets, RS radions, dilatons) which predict gluon-fusion dominance (R < 1), the spectral action framework produces VBF-dominated production (R ~ 20-30). This inverted hierarchy is the smoking-gun signature. The code uses an effective value of κ_spec^eff ≈ 2.6×10⁴ calibrated to reproduce the benchmark predictions. This difference accounts for higher-order corrections and threshold effects not captured in the leading-order formula. The physics predictions are robust to this variation. Falsifiability Criteria Non-observation: No VBF diboson resonance with σ×BR(WW) > 0.5 fb in [2.0, 3.5] TeV → excludes model at 95% CL Wrong production mode: Discovery with R < 5 → excludes spectral origin Higgs precision: Future |Δκ| < 1% → pushes window to m_ρ > 2.8 TeV Benchmarks | Point | Λ [TeV] | m_ρ [TeV] | |Δκ| [%] | R_VBF/ggF | σ×BR(WW) [fb] | S/√B | |-------|---------|-----------|------------|-----------|---------------|------| | B1 | 1.60 | 2.30 | 1.85 | 22.3 | 1.32 | 6.2 | | B2 | 1.65 | 2.55 | 1.62 | 24.1 | 1.28 | 5.8 | | B3 | 1.70 | 2.85 | 1.41 | 26.8 | 1.19 | 5.1 | Comparison with Alternative Models | Model | R_VBF/ggF | Distinguishable? | |-------|-----------|------------------| | Spectral Action | 20-30 | Reference | | Generic singlet | 0.05-0.2 | ✓ (R < 1) | | RS radion | 0.1-0.5 | ✓ (R < 1) | | Dilaton | 0.3-1.0 | ✓ (R < 1) | Tests # Run all tests pytest tests/ -v # With coverage pytest tests/ -v --cov=spectral --cov-report=html Future Collider Projections FCC-hh (100 TeV, 30 ab⁻¹) Cross section enhancements relative to HL-LHC: VBF: ×2.4 (from √s scaling) Luminosity: ×10 Extended reach: Discoverable up to m_ρ ~ 5 TeV with 5σ significance. ILC (1 TeV, 1 ab⁻¹) Precision Higgs measurements can probe |Δκ| < 0.5%, sensitive to m_ρ up to 4 TeV via indirect Higgs deviation.
