Abstract

This document is an interpretive and protective note within the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO) corpus. Its purpose is to clarify that coherence measures, quasi-periodic temporal structure, and related order parameters are derived descriptors of evolution along the scalar temporal field, not additional temporal primitives or independent notions of time. The note introduces no new axioms, equations, dynamics, or experimental claims. It does not assert priority over external results, nor does it subsume or reinterpret them. Its sole role is to prevent category errors, overextension, or misattribution when relating external quantum or driven-system literature to the STFO framework.
