Coherent Cavities vs. Collision Physics: Earth's Plasma Architecture as a Natural Laboratory for Field-Based Spacetime Structure
Abstract
Modern fundamental physics is dominated by collision-based experiments, in which particles are accelerated and smashed together to infer the structure of matter. While this approach has been highly successful at cataloging particle fragments, it systematically destroys the field coherence that gives rise to physical structure. This paper proposes a complementary experimental regime: phase-stabilized vacuum–plasma cavities, in which electromagnetic and quantum fields self-organize into stable, measurable geometry. Earth’s ionosphere and magnetosphere already generate such cavities naturally, forming field-aligned ducts, plasma filaments, and resonant voids that guide energy, particles, and waves. These regions provide a planetary-scale model of coherent field physics, revealing a path toward non-destructive observation of vacuum structure, spacetime curvature, and plasma-mediated transport.
